Team, security & billing
Logins, permissions, 2-step sign-in, your plan
- Team members and who sees what
Give each person on your team the right access: Owners and Admins see everything; for Staff and Fundraisers you decide exactly what they can see and do.
7 steps · Owners & admins - Invite a staff member
Give a secretary, gabbai or bookkeeper their own login. Yahiv creates the account and shows you a one-time password to give them.
5 steps · Owners & admins - Give a collector (fundraiser) limited access
Let a meshulach, volunteer or collector record what they collect and see only their own results — not your whole donor list.
4 steps · Owners & admins - Let someone see only certain campaigns
A volunteer running the dinner, or a school's office running only school campaigns: limit their login to the campaigns they work on.
3 steps · Owners & admins - Change someone's role
Promote a staff member to Admin, or change someone between Staff and Fundraiser.
3 steps · Owners & admins - Remove someone's access
When someone leaves, remove their access right away. They're signed out of your organization at once; everything they recorded stays.
3 steps · Owners & admins - Sign-in security for your organization
The Owner decides whether 2-step sign-in is required and when idle people are signed out. Everyone can see where they're signed in and their recent sign-ins.
5 steps · Owners & admins - Require 2-step sign-in for your team
Make everyone (or just Owners and Admins) use a code from an authenticator app when signing in, so a stolen password isn't enough.
4 steps · Owners & admins - Turn on 2-step sign-in for your own login
Protect your login with a 6-digit code from an authenticator app on your phone, on top of your password. It takes a minute.
5 steps · Everyone - Sign out everywhere else (lost phone, shared computer)
See every device where you're signed in, and sign out the ones you don't recognise — or all of them except this one.
5 steps · Everyone - Forgot your password? Reset it
Get a link by email to set a new password. It works for one hour. To change a password you know, use My account.
5 steps · Everyone - Your Yahiv plan and billing
See your plan and price, trial days left, the card Yahiv charges, your invoices, and how many people and team logins you use. Every organization's price is set up with Yahiv to fit it.
4 steps · Owners & admins - Change your plan or add a card
Out of room for people or team logins, or your trial is ending? Your plan is set up with Yahiv to fit your organization — contact Yahiv to change it, and add the card Yahiv charges.
3 steps · Owners & admins - Refer an organization, get a free month
Send your link to another shul or mosad. When they start paying for Yahiv, you both get a free month.
3 steps · Owners & admins - Set up two-person approval
Require a second Owner or Admin to approve refunds, voids, cancelled pledges or deleting people — for every amount, or only above an amount you choose.
5 steps · Owners & admins - Approve or turn down a request (two-person approval)
When your organization uses two-person approval, a refund, void, cancelled pledge or deletion waits under Approvals until a different Owner or Admin approves it.
6 steps · Owners & admins - Approve requests from your phone
Turn on notifications so approval requests reach your phone. One tap opens a phone-sized page with big Approve and Turn down buttons.
4 steps · Owners & admins - See who did what (Activity log)
Every sensitive action — sign-ins, refunds, voids, deletes, merges, settings and processor changes — is recorded with who did it, when and from where.
3 steps · Owners & admins - Is Yahiv slow? Speed check
For organizations that run their own copy of Yahiv: the Speed check measures how fast the app reaches its database and tells you exactly what to change if it's slow.
4 steps · Owners & admins - Signing in from your own website
Your team can sign in to Yahiv from your own web address — like portal.yourshul.org — on a page with your logo and colors. It's the same safe sign-in, and it opens straight into your organization.
