Give a collector (fundraiser) limited access

Let a meshulach, volunteer or collector record what they collect and see only their own results — not your whole donor list.

Before you start

  • The collector has a fundraiser record (Campaigns → Fundraisers) — optional but needed for “own results only”.
  1. 1

    Invite them as Fundraiser

Settings → Team & roles → Invite someone: their name and email, role “Fundraiser”. In “Link to a fundraiser record (optional)” choose their fundraiser record. Click “Invite” and give them the one-time password.

Link the login to their fundraiser record.
  2. 2

    Check their access

Click “Edit access” on their card. A Fundraiser starts with: People — No access, Giving — Can view & record, reports on, and “Only see gifts credited to their linked fundraiser record” ticked.

Only see gifts credited to their linked fundraiser record.
  3. 3

    Adjust if needed

For example, give them “Can view” on People so they can look up donors, or limit them to one campaign under “Campaigns they can see”. Click “Save access”.

  4. 4

    What they see

Their top bar says “My results” instead of Giving. Their Home shows Collect, “Not handed in yet”, their calls and “My earnings” (if you pay commissions).

Tips

  • Gifts they record are credited to their fundraiser record automatically.
  • Commissions are set under Campaigns → Commissions.
  • Collectors on the go use Record → Collect (phone).

If something isn't working

Their results are empty.

The login isn't linked to a fundraiser record. On Team & roles pick it in the fundraiser box next to their role and click Save.

They can't find a donor to record a gift on.

With People set to “No access” they can still pick people on the gift form. If they need to open profiles, give them “Can view”.
