Forgot your password? Reset it
Get a link by email to set a new password. It works for one hour. To change a password you know, use My account.

Click “Forgot your password?”
On the sign-in page, under the Sign in button, click “Forgot your password?”.

Type your email
Type the email you sign in with and click “Email me a link”. You see “If there's an account for that email, a link to reset the password is on its way. It works for 1 hour.”

Open the email
Click the link in the email. Look in spam if it isn't in your inbox after a few minutes.

Choose a new password
Type a new password (at least 10 characters) in both boxes and click “Save password & sign in”. All your other sign-ins are ended.

Change a password you know
Signed in already? Go to avatar → My account → “Change password”: type your current password, then the new one (10+ characters), and click “Change password”.

Tips
- Use a password you don't use anywhere else.
- If you have 2-step sign-in, you'll still need your authenticator code after resetting.
If something isn't working
It says “This link has expired or was already used. Ask for a new one.”
Click “Send me a new link” and use the newest email within an hour.
It says “Account temporarily locked after failed attempts. Try again in 15 minutes.”
After 10 wrong passwords the login locks for 15 minutes. Wait, or reset the password.
It says “Too many requests. Please try again in an hour.”
You asked for several links already. Use the newest email, or wait an hour.
It says “Your current password isn't right”.
On My account, the current password must be typed exactly. If you forgot it, sign out and use “Forgot your password?”.
It says “The two passwords don't match”.
Type the same new password in both boxes.
