Bring your people, families, pledges, every past gift and recurring gifts into Yahiv by dropping in the files your old system exports. You check everything before it's imported, and can undo it after.

Moving from Donary? Export your donors, transactions, pledges and recurring schedules (and the campaign, reason, collector and location lists if you can), then drop them all into Yahiv at once.

Have a members list, a dinner list or an old spreadsheet? Import it straight into People. Yahiv matches the columns and won't create duplicates of people who are already here.

Before anyone is added, Yahiv shows people in your file who look like someone already here — or like another row in the file — and lets you decide: same person or different people.

After importing, open the import's review page: counts, an automatic “Import check”, and every row that needs a look. When the numbers match your old system, sign it off.

Imported the wrong file, or the columns were mixed up? Undo the whole import: the people, gifts and pledges it created are removed.

Saved cards can't legally be copied between systems, so each imported recurring gift becomes a task. Collect the card from each donor and start the recurring gift in Yahiv.

Everything is backed up automatically every night, encrypted. Download any day's backup as Excel, make one now, or test that a backup really restores.
