Recycle bin: bring back deleted people, voided gifts and cancelled pledges
Removed a person, voided a gift or cancelled a pledge by mistake? For 30 days you can bring it back from the Recycle bin with one click.
Before you start

Open the Recycle bin
Go to Settings → Recycle bin. It has three lists: People, Voided gifts and Cancelled pledges, each with the date and how many days are left.

Restore
Click “Restore” next to what you want back. A person comes back to People, a voided gift counts again, and a cancelled pledge is open again.

Check it's back
Click the name, receipt number or pledge number in the list to open it and check. Restored gifts and pledges count in totals and balances again right away.
Tips
- After 30 days, deleted people with no gifts or pledges are removed for good. Anyone with history stays on file (deleted) so receipts and totals never break.
- People combined into another record (merged) are not in the Recycle bin.
If something isn't working
What I deleted isn't in the list.
It's older than 30 days, or it was merged rather than deleted. Contact support if you need it.
A restored gift won't come back.
If the gift is in a closed month, an admin must reopen the month first (Settings → Month closing).
