Set up recurring gifts again after moving in
Saved cards can't legally be copied between systems, so each imported recurring gift becomes a task. Collect the card from each donor and start the recurring gift in Yahiv.

Find who needs it
After the import, open the import's page and click “Recurring gifts to set up again”, or open People with the tag “recurring-to-set-up”.

Read the task
Each person has a follow-up with the amount, schedule and next date from the old system.

Get a new card
Call the donor, or send them a link to give monthly from your giving page. Save the card on the person (“+ Add card”).

Start the recurring gift
Record → “Recurring gift”: same amount and frequency, first charge on the next date. Click “Start recurring gift”.

Tidy up
Mark the follow-up done and remove the tag with People → tick → “Remove tag”.
Remove the tag when done.
Tips
- Stop the recurring gift in the old system before starting it in Yahiv, so nobody is charged twice.
- Stopped recurring gifts in the old system are not brought in.
If something isn't working
The donor was charged by both systems.
Cancel the old system's schedule, and refund one of the charges in the system it came from.
