Choose which processor each gift uses (e.g. big gifts through Zeffy)
Rules send each gift to the right processor by amount, payment type, where it was entered and campaign — for example "up to $3,000 → Sola, from $3,000 → Zeffy".
Before you start
- Owner or Admin.
- The processors you want to use are connected. For Zeffy, add your Zeffy form link under Payment processors → Zeffy.

Open Processor rules & fees
Settings → "Processor rules & fees". The table "Rules (checked top to bottom — the first that fits wins)" has empty rows to fill.
Each row is one rule. The first rule that fits a gift wins. - 2
Set the amounts
In "From $" type where the rule starts (blank = 0). In "Up to $ (not incl.)" type where it stops (blank = no limit). Example row 1: From 0, Up to 3000.

Narrow it down (optional)
"Payment type": Any, Card, Bank / ACH, or Charity card. "Where": Staff & online, Staff entry, or Giving page. "Campaign": Any or one campaign.

Pick the processor
In "→ Processor" choose where these gifts go. Add a second row, e.g. From 3000 (no Up to) → Zeffy.

Save
Press "Save" at the bottom. You see "Saved" and a plain list under the table, like "1. from $0 up to $3,000 → Sola".

Check it on the gift form
Record → Gift, Credit card, type 5000. The line shows "$5,000 goes through Zeffy". Staff can still switch it with the "Change processor" list before charging.
Tips
- When no rule fits: the campaign's own processor is used, then your default.
- Zeffy can't be charged by other software. For a gift routed to Zeffy, staff send the donor your Zeffy form link, and on the giving page the donor sees "Continue on Zeffy". The gift then imports from Zeffy by itself.
- To remove a rule, tick "Remove" on its row and Save.
If something isn't working
"Rule 2: the amounts don't make sense".
"Up to" must be bigger than "From", and amounts can't be negative. Fix that row.
"Unknown processor in a rule".
The processor was removed. Pick another one in that row or tick Remove.
A yellow note says "To send gifts to Zeffy, add your Zeffy donation form link…".
Settings → Payment processors → Zeffy → Edit credentials → paste your Zeffy form link → Save.
The gift form says "This amount goes through Zeffy — send the donor the Zeffy link above, or switch the processor."
That's the rule working. Either send the Zeffy link, or use "Change processor" to charge the card through another processor.
