Collecting without signal
In a basement, a hall or a wedding with no signal, keep collecting as usual. Gifts are saved on the phone and sent the moment there's signal — each one exactly once.
Before you start
- You opened Collect at least once with signal on this phone (so the list of people is on it).

Open Collect while you still have signal
Before you go into the hall, open Record → "Collect (phone)". The people list is kept on the phone and refreshed every few hours.

Collect as usual
Pick the person, type the amount, tap how they paid, Save. A yellow box says "No signal — gifts are being saved on this phone (not in Yahiv yet)."

Read the message after each Save
"No signal — $180 from Moshe Klein is saved on this phone. It is not in Yahiv yet; it will be sent the moment there's signal."

See what's waiting
The box lists "2 saved on this phone, waiting to be recorded in Yahiv: …".

Back in signal
They go out by themselves. You see "2 gifts from this phone are now recorded in Yahiv." To hurry it, press "Send now".
Once sent, the gifts are in Today's list. - 6
Add check photos later
A check photo can't wait on the phone. Open the gift later (from "Today") and add the photo there.
Tips
- Keep the same phone and the same login until everything is sent — what's saved belongs to this phone, this organization and this person.
- Don't clear your browser's data or "website data" while gifts are waiting.
If something isn't working
"This phone could NOT save $… (its storage is full or blocked). Write it down…"
The phone refused to keep it (often private browsing, or storage full). Write the gift on paper, and Save again when you have signal. Don't use private/incognito mode for Collect.
"… couldn't be recorded: …" after signal comes back.
One gift had a problem (for example a campaign you can't use). The others went in. Tell the office the name and amount so they can enter it.
Gifts "saved on this phone earlier, without an organization".
They were saved by an older version. If they belong to the organization shown, press "record in …". Otherwise switch to the right organization first.
Someone else signed in on this phone and the waiting gifts disappeared.
They are kept for the person who saved them. Sign back in as yourself with signal and they're sent.
