Zelle: who sent it? Suggestions and automatic recording
For Zelle payments it can't match for sure, Yahiv suggests up to three likely senders with how sure it is and why. You can also let it record clear winners by itself.
- 1
What Yahiv looks at
English and Hebrew names (it understands "Klein, Moshe" and "Moshe and Rivky Klein"), spouse and family links, amounts they gave before, account and pledge numbers or names in the memo, the sender's email/phone when the bank shows it, and how recently they gave.
- 2
See the "likely" chip
In the Zelle inbox list each waiting payment shows a chip like "likely: Moshe Klein 86%". Hover it for the reasons.
Waiting payments show their likeliest sender. - 3
Record from a suggestion
Open the payment and press "Yes, record on …". It's exactly like picking the person yourself, and the Zelle name is remembered.

Turn on automatic recording (optional)
Settings → Zelle inbox. Tick "Record automatically when Yahiv is at least __% sure who sent it" and set the number (90 is a good start; 50–100 allowed). Save.
Automatic recording is off unless you turn it on. - 5
Check the alerts
When Yahiv records one by itself you get an alert saying who it went on. In the inbox list it shows "auto 93%".
- 6
Undo a wrong one
Open the payment → "Recorded automatically … Wrong person?" → "Undo". The gift is voided, the Zelle name forgotten, and you pick the right person below.
Automatic ones are marked "auto" in the Recorded list.
Tips
- Only a clear winner — well ahead of the runner-up — is recorded automatically.
- Wrongly remembered names can be removed under "Remembered Zelle names" → Forget.
If something isn't working
"Automatic recording needs a number between 50 and 100".
Type a number from 50 to 100 and Save.
No suggestions are shown for a payment.
Suggestions need an amount and a sender name in the bank's email, and someone with a likely match. Pick the person yourself under "Who sent this?".
Automatic recording put a gift on the spouse.
That can be right for a household. If not, press Undo on that payment and pick the right person.
