Before you start

  • Your login can edit people.
  1. 1

    Open Volunteers

Click "Programs", then "Volunteers". The boxes show "Shifts coming up", "Spots still open" and "Signed up".

Add a shift at the bottom.
  2. 2

    Add a shift

Under "Add a shift" type the job (e.g. "Purim packaging"), the date, from–to times, "How many people", "Where", and "What to bring / what they'll do". Click "Add shift".

Job, date, time and how many.
  3. 3

    Share the sign-up page

Click "Public sign-up page" and share the link. People pick a shift and leave their name and cell ("Sign me up").

    What volunteers see.
  4. 4

    Sign someone up yourself

On the shift, pick a person — or type a "Name" and "Cell" — and click "Sign up".

Each shift has its own sign-up row.
  5. 5

    Watch it fill

Each shift shows "5/12" — green when full.

Tips

  • A shift that already happened can't take new sign-ups.
  • "Remove this shift" shows only when no one is signed up.

If something isn't working

"Sorry — that shift is full"

All spots are taken. Raise "How many people" by adding a second shift.

"What's the job and when?"

Fill in the job and the date.

"That shift already happened"

You can't sign up for a past shift.
