Match a Stripe payout to the gifts in it
Stripe sends gifts to your bank in batches, minus its fees. Insights → Payouts shows each Stripe deposit, the gifts inside it and the fees, and flags anything not in Yahiv.
Before you start
- A Stripe account is connected under Settings → Payment processors.
- 1
Open Payouts
Open Insights → "Payouts". Below the upload card you see your recent Stripe payouts, newest first.
Recent Stripe payouts are listed below. - 2
Find the deposit
Each payout's title shows the arrival date and amount "to the bank", plus the gross and fees. Find the one that matches your bank statement.
Date, amount to the bank, gross and fees. - 3
Look at the gifts
Each line is one charge: the transaction id, the donor (click to open the gift), the amount and the fee.
- 4
Look for "not in Yahiv"
A yellow "not in Yahiv" means Stripe charged it but Yahiv has no gift for it — for example a charge made in Stripe's own dashboard. Record it as a gift so your totals match.
Record a charge that isn't in Yahiv. - 5
Book the fees
Use the "fees" figure in the title to record the processing fees in your books.
- 6
Status
"paid" (green) means it reached your bank. Other statuses mean it's on its way.
Tips
- Other processors (Sola-Cardknox, NMI, USAePay, Authorize.net…): upload their deposit report instead — see "Upload a processor deposit report".
- The 10 most recent payouts of each Stripe account are shown.
