Upload a processor deposit report
Download the batch or deposit report from your card processor's website and upload it. Yahiv finds every charge, marks matching gifts "In the bank", and lists anything missing or different.
- 1
Download the report
On your processor's website, download the batch / settlement / deposit report as CSV for the deposit you want to check.
- 2
Open Payouts
Open Insights → "Payouts". The first card is "Match a deposit report (any processor)".
Upload the processor's report here. - 3
Fill in the form
Choose the "Processor" (or "Any (match by transaction id)"), optionally the "Deposit date", and choose the "Report file (CSV)". Press "Upload & match".
Choose the processor, then the file. - 4
If asked, choose the columns
If Yahiv can't tell which columns are which, a yellow box asks you to choose "Transaction id", "Amount", "Fee", "Date" and "Type". Choose them and upload the file again.
- 5
Read the result
The report page shows colored counts: "Matches", "Not in Yahiv", "Different amount", "Yahiv says declined", "Refund not in Yahiv", "In Yahiv, not in this report" and more. Click a count to jump to it. Each group explains what to do.
Each uploaded report: net, fees and result. - 6
Fix what's flagged
"Not in Yahiv": record the gift. "Different amount": open the gift and check. "Refund not in Yahiv": refund the gift in Yahiv. "In Yahiv, not in this report": it may be in the next deposit.
Tips
- Voided, declined and failed lines in the report are skipped — they never moved money.
- Files can be up to 10 MB.
If something isn't working
"No transactions found in that file".
Make sure it's the detailed report (one line per charge) saved as CSV, not a PDF or summary.
"That processor isn't connected".
Choose "Any (match by transaction id)" or connect the processor first.
"Couldn't tell which columns are the transaction id and the amount".
Choose the columns in the yellow box, then upload the same file again.
