Show the shul screen full-screen on a Windows PC (kiosk launcher)
Download a small file that opens the shul screen truly full screen — no taskbar, no address bar — and have it start by itself whenever the computer turns on.
Before you start
- An Owner or Admin login.
- The screen link created (see "Set up the shul screen").
- A Windows computer connected to the TV, with Microsoft Edge (it comes with Windows).

Download the launcher
On the shul computer, sign in to Yahiv, go to Programs → "Shul screen", and click "Download the Windows launcher". A file called "Yahiv shul screen.bat" downloads.
The launcher button is next to the screen link. - 2
Try it
Double-click the file. After about 10 seconds the screen opens full screen in Edge — nothing else showing.

Close it when needed
Press Alt+F4 to close the screen.

Start it automatically
Press Win+R, type shell:startup and press Enter. A folder opens. Copy the launcher file into that folder.

Test a restart
Restart the computer. When Windows starts, the screen comes up by itself.

Keep it awake
In Windows Settings → System → Power, set screen and sleep to "Never" so the screen never goes dark.
Tips
- Set Windows to sign in by itself (no password) on the shul computer, or the screen waits at the login.
- On a smart TV or any other computer: open the link and click once on the screen (or press F11).
If something isn't working
"Create the screen link first"
Click "Create the screen link" on the Shul screen page, then download the launcher.
The download says "Not allowed".
Only Owners and Admins can download the launcher. Sign in with an admin login on that computer.
It stopped working after we made a new link.
The launcher has the old link inside it. Download it again and replace the file in the startup folder.
Nothing opens.
The launcher uses Microsoft Edge. Make sure Edge is installed and up to date.
