Set up your seats (sections and seat numbers)
Set up your sections and seat numbers once — men's shul, Ezras Nashim, the beis medrash — with a usual price. Then you can sell them every year.
Before you start
- An Owner or Admin login (only they can add sections and seats).
- 1
Open Seats
Click "Programs" in the top bar. You land on the "Seats" tab. The boxes at the top show "Seats", "Sold for" this year, "Open" and "Value sold".
How many seats are sold for this year. - 2
Add a section
Scroll down to "Add a section". Type the name (e.g. "Men — Main shul") and the "Usual price per seat ($)", e.g. 360. Click "Add section".
One section at a time. - 3
Add the seats
In "Add seats" choose the section and type the seat numbers: "1-40" makes seats 1 to 40; "A1-A12, B1-B12" makes two rows. Leave the price empty to use the section's price, or type a different price for these seats (e.g. the front row). Click "Add seats".
Ranges and rows in one line. - 4
Check the map
Scroll up to "Sell seats for …". Every seat shows as a small box under its section. Open seats are white; sold seats are dark with the holder's name when you point at them.
White = open, dark = sold. - 5
Pick the year
The buttons at the top right switch the season (the Jewish year, e.g. 5787). Seats are sold per season.
Tips
- Make a separate section for each price, or add special seats with their own price in "Add seats".
- A range can have up to 500 seats at once.
- Seat numbers can be letters and numbers — "A1", "Bimah 3" — as long as each is unique in its section.
If something isn't working
Range "…" doesn't look right
Write a range low-to-high, like 1-40 or A1-A12. A range can't be backwards or have more than 500 seats.
"Type which seats to add, e.g. 1-20"
The seat-numbers box was empty.
I can't delete a seat.
A seat that was ever sold can't be deleted, so the history stays right.
