Donor pays a pledge in one tap
If the donor's card is on file, each open pledge shows "Pay with Visa •••• 4242" — one confirmation and the balance is paid, with a receipt.
Before you start
- The donor has a card on file with you.
- The pledge balance is at least $1.

Open commitments
In the portal, "Open commitments" lists each pledge with the amount left.

Pay with the saved card
Under "Pay" press "Pay with Visa •••• 4242". It asks "Charge $360 to your Visa •••• 4242 now?"

Confirm
Press "Pay $360 now". Pressing twice charges once. A receipt goes out as usual.

Another card or part payment
Press "Pay" instead — the payment page opens with "Paying … Balance: …" and they can type any amount and any card.
The Pay button opens the giving form for that pledge.
Tips
- The button shows only when there's a card on file and at least $1 is owed.
- Pressing twice never charges twice.
If something isn't working
"The balance is now $… — please check and press Pay again".
Something was paid meanwhile. Press Pay again with the new balance.
"This can't be paid with your card on file — use Pay to enter a card".
Use the "Pay" button and type a card.
"We're still checking this payment with the card company — please don't pay again yet".
Don't pay again. Staff check it under Payments to check.
"Too many payments in a short time — please wait a while".
At most 6 one-tap payments an hour. Wait and try again.
"This page was open too long — please press Pay again".
Refresh the portal and press Pay again.
