Set up your giving page (amounts, wording, colors, pictures)

Your giving page is ready the day you sign up. Make it yours: your color, your logo and pictures, your amounts, and for each campaign its own title, story, pictures and goal.

Before you start

  • Owner or Admin.
  1. 1

    See your page

Your page is at /give/<your page link> on your giving address, e.g. …/give/demo-shul. Open it in a new tab to see what donors see.

Your giving page as donors see it on a phone.
  2. 2

    Name and color

Settings → "Profile & branding". "Organization name" and "Hebrew name" show at the top of the page. "Brand color" colors the page, the buttons and the donor portal. "Public page link" is the last part of the address. Save.

Your brand color is used on every donor page.
  3. 3

    The amounts

Settings → "Amounts & messages" → "Preset amounts". Type each amount and an optional Hebrew label (e.g. אבני יסוד). Tick "monthly" to make it a recurring preset. Save.

Preset amounts are the quick-pick buttons.
  4. 4

    Your logo and pictures

Settings → "Page design & pictures". Add your logo, a banner (behind the coloured top of the page) and a background for the giving page. Drop a picture on a box or tap it to choose one; it's saved right away and shrunk for phones. The writing stays readable by itself: the banner is darkened and the background faded — move "Fade it so the writing stays readable" for more or less. See "Add your own pictures to your pages".

  5. 5

    Pictures on the amounts

In "Page design & pictures" → "Amount tiles" (or next to each amount in "Amounts & messages"), add a picture to an amount — say $18 Chai. The amounts then show as picture tiles. You can also add a picture to the "Give once" and "Give monthly" boxes.

  6. 6

    A campaign's own page

Campaigns → open the campaign → Settings: "Friendly name (shown to donors)" is the big title, "Description (shown on the donation page)" is the story, "Pictures" (its box picture, banner and background), "Goal $", "Ends (countdown)". Tick "Public donation page", "Show donor wall" and "Show countdown" as you like. Press "Save campaign".

Each campaign has its own title, story, goal and picture.
  7. 7

    See a campaign page

It's at /give/<your page link>/<campaign link>, with a progress ring, "raised so far", the countdown, matching ("Your gift goes 2× further") and recent supporters.

A campaign page with goal, matching and countdown.
  8. 8

    What donors fill in

"Give once" or "Give monthly", an amount, name, email, optional phone and address, an optional tribute ("Give in honor or memory of someone"), a dedication or donor-wall message, and the card. They get an email receipt.

Tips

  • If you have preset amounts, they are used on every page. A campaign's "Suggested amounts" are used only when you have no presets.
  • The general page (no campaign) shows a fixed short sentence under "Make a gift". For your own wording, send people to a campaign page.
  • Donors coming from their own link (in your emails and texts) get their name filled in — and personal amounts if "Personal ask amounts" is on.

If something isn't working

The page says "Online giving is not set up yet."

No card processor is set for this page. Settings → Payment processors.

"That page link is taken".

Another organization uses that link. Choose another.

The header picture doesn't show.

Add it under the campaign's "Pictures" instead of a link. A link in "Header image link (https)" must start with https:// and point straight to an image.

"That picture is too big — the most is 8 MB."

Choose a smaller photo, or send it to yourself by WhatsApp first (that shrinks it).
