Add your own pictures to your pages (logo, banner, background, boxes)
Put your logo, a banner, a background and a picture on every option box — amounts, campaigns, sponsorships, dedications, raffle packages and prizes, dinner tickets — on your public pages.
Before you start
- Owner or Admin (sponsorship and dedication pictures: anyone who can record gifts).
- JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF or an iPhone (HEIC) photo, up to 8 MB.
- 1
Open Page design
Settings → "Page design & pictures". Everything here is saved as soon as you add it — there's no Save button.
- 2
Your logo
Under "Logo", drop your logo on the box or tap it to choose. A PNG with a clear background looks best. It shows at the top of your giving page, ticket pages, forms, the kiosk and the donor portal.
- 3
Banner and background
Open a page type ("Giving page" is open already) and add a "Banner (top of the page)" — a wide picture, with faces in the middle — and a "Background". For the background choose "Fill the page" or "Repeat (pattern)", and how much to fade it. Pages without their own use the giving page's.
- 4
Describe each picture
Under each picture type a few words ("Our new Beis Medrash"). People who use a screen reader hear it. It's optional.
- 5
Amounts and the Give once / monthly boxes
Under "Amount tiles" add a picture to any amount (e.g. $18 Chai). With at least one picture, the amounts show as tiles with the picture on top. Under "The Give once / Give monthly boxes" add a picture to each.
- 6
Campaigns
Campaigns → open the campaign → Settings → "Pictures": the box picture (on its box on your giving page and at the top of its page), its own banner and background.
- 7
Everything else
Next to each option where you set it up: Programs → Sponsorships (open a type), Campaigns → Dedications (open an item), a raffle's page (each prize, the tickets, each package, and "Pictures on the ticket page"), an event's page (each ticket, table, sponsorship and ad, and "Banner & background on the ticket page").
- 8
Change or take off
"Replace" puts in a new picture; "Remove" takes it off. The page goes back to your colour, or to the giving page's picture.
Tips
- Pictures are shrunk for phones automatically — you don't need to resize them.
- A calm photo works best as a background; busy photos are faded more so the writing stays readable.
- A picture on an amount belongs to the amount: it shows on the giving page, the kiosk and the campaign-night pledge page wherever that amount is.
- Emailed receipts keep your name in text at the top.
If something isn't working
"That isn't a picture we can use"
Choose a JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF or HEIC photo. A PDF or Word file can't be used — take a screenshot of it instead.
"HEIC photos can't be read here"
Choose it again from your iPhone (it's turned into a JPG on the way), or save it as a JPG first.
"Only an Owner or Admin can change pictures on your pages."
Ask an Owner or Admin, or ask them to change your role under Settings → Team & roles.
The amounts show as tiles but one has no picture.
Once one amount has a picture, all show as tiles; the ones without a picture show their name or amount in your colour. Add pictures to the rest, or remove the one.
My banner is cut on phones.
Phones show the middle of a wide picture. Keep faces and writing in the middle.
