Set up a raffle
Create a raffle with a ticket price, package deals like "3 for $100", and prizes — then sell at the office and online.
Before you start
- An Owner or Admin login.
- 1
Open Raffles & auctions
Click "Programs", then "Raffles & auctions". Your raffles are listed with tickets sold, raised and status ("Selling", "Closed", "Drawn").
All raffles and auctions. - 2
Name and type
Under "New raffle or auction" type the "Name" (e.g. "Chanukah Grand Raffle") and keep "Type" on "Raffle (one pool of tickets)".
The new-raffle form. - 3
Price and packages
"Ticket price ($)" e.g. 36. In "Package deals" write deals like "3 for 100, 10 for 250". Yahiv always charges the cheapest mix — 4 tickets would be 3 for $100 plus 1 for $36.
Write each deal as "number for price". - 4
Draw date, campaign and description
Pick the "Draw date", a "Campaign (optional)", and a "Description (shown on the public page)". Keep "Sell online too" ticked. Click "Create".
- 5
Add the prizes
You land on the raffle's page. Under "Prizes & drawing" type the prize (e.g. "Trip to Eretz Yisroel"), its "Value $" and details, then "Add prize". A raffle needs at least one prize to draw.
Add each prize. - 6
Share the link
At the top of the raffle is "online: /shop/your-org/raffle/…". Send that link, put it in emails, or make a QR code of it.
The page buyers see. - 7
Add pictures
Under each prize, drop a picture on its box or tap to choose. Under "Pictures on the ticket page" add one for the tickets and one for each package (e.g. "Package · 3 for $100"), plus a banner and a background for the raffle's page. With package pictures, buyers tap a package to pick it.
Tips
- Raffle tickets are receipted as not tax-deductible — buyers are paying for a chance to win.
- "Raised" on the raffle page counts only money really paid; billed tickets count when paid.
- To stop sales, open "Edit" at the bottom, set "Sales" to "Closed" and Save.
If something isn't working
Package "…" — write it like "3 for 100"
Each deal must be a number, the word "for", and a price, separated by commas: 3 for 100, 10 for 250.
"Enter the ticket price"
"Ticket price ($)" can't be empty or 0.
I can't remove a prize.
Once tickets were sold for it (or it was drawn), it can't be removed.
