Before you start

  • "Kiddush" set up under "What can be sponsored".
  1. 1

    Find an open Shabbos

Programs → "Sponsorships". Look for "open: Kiddush" in green under a Shabbos. Use the arrows for next month.

    Green "open" means it's free.
  2. 2

    Fill in the booking

Scroll to "Book a sponsorship". "What": Kiddush. "Day": the Shabbos. "Amount (blank = the usual price)".

    The booking form.
  3. 3

    Who and why

"Sponsored by": pick the person. "In honor / in memory of": e.g. "the aufruf of Moshe Levin" or "לע״נ …".

The dedication shows on the calendar and the pledge.
  4. 4

    Book it

Click "Book it". You see "Kiddush booked — pledge made for the amount". The calendar shows the name with "owes".

  5. 5

    Get paid

Click "owes" to open the pledge and send a pay link, or record the payment there. The calendar then shows "paid ✓".

Tips

  • For a yahrzeit Kiddush, check "Yahrzeits & dates" for families with a yahrzeit that week and call them.
  • Cancel a booking with "cancel" on the calendar. If nothing was paid, the pledge is cancelled too.

If something isn't working

"Sorry — that day was just taken. Please pick another day."

The Shabbos is full (all the places are taken). Pick another Shabbos or raise "Up to … people".

"Choose who is sponsoring"

Pick the person in "Sponsored by".

"Cancelled. $… was already paid — refund it or move it from the pledge if needed."

Open the pledge and refund the money, or move the payment to a different pledge.
