Run campaign night step by step (before, during, after)
A checklist for a matching campaign or dinner appeal: what to set up the week before, what to do on the night, and how to wrap up the next morning.
Before you start
- A campaign with a goal (and a match, if you have one).
- A laptop for night mode and a computer connected to the projector or TV.

A week before: check the campaign
Open the campaign. Check the goal, the match and cap, the end time and the teams. Click "Donation page ↗" and make a small test gift with your own card if you've never done it.

A few days before: QR pledges and table tents
In night mode click "QR pledges from the tables", tick "Page is on (guests can pledge)", Save, and print "Table tents (4 per page)". See "Print QR table tents".

The day of: make the big screen link
In night mode click "Open big screen ↗" on the projector computer. Press F11 for full screen. Leave it running.

During: record gifts
One person types gifts in "Record a gift": name, amount, how they paid, Enter. Cards and pledges handed in at tables go in the same way.

During: speeches
When the Rav speaks, click "Pause screen" so the screen freezes. Click "Resume screen" afterwards — everything that came in meanwhile pops up.

During: watch the pace
"Last 10 minutes" tells you if things are slowing down — a good moment for the MC to announce the match or a team race.

After: turn off the QR page
Open "QR pledges from the tables", untick "Page is on", and Save, so the printed codes stop working.

Next morning: night summary
Click "Night summary". Print it for the board: total, by payment type, by team, largest gifts and first-time donors. Then follow up on the pledges (see "Night summary and follow-up").

Tips
- Practice once with a test gift and "Undo last gift" so the team knows what it looks like.
- Turn on Shabbos & Yom Tov in Settings if your night is a motzei Shabbos — thank-you texts wait until after havdalah.
- Keep the night-mode laptop plugged in and on a wired connection if you can.
If something isn't working
The big screen doesn't change.
It might be paused — look for "Paused" in its corner and click "Resume screen" in night mode. If the link is older than 60 days, open a fresh one from night mode.
The printed QR code says the page doesn't exist.
The QR page is off. In night mode click "QR pledges from the tables", tick "Page is on", and Save.
Someone can't open night mode.
They need "record gifts" access and must not be limited to their own results. An Owner changes this in Settings → Team & roles.
