I'm locked out, or my 2-step code doesn't work
Sign-in problems are usually a forgotten password, a temporary lock after wrong tries, or a 2-step code from a phone whose clock is off.
- 1
"Incorrect email or password."
Check the email for typos, and caps lock. Then use "Forgot your password?" on the sign-in page.
Reset your password here. - 2
"Account temporarily locked…"
After several wrong passwords the account locks for 15 minutes. Wait, then try once carefully, or reset the password.
- 3
The reset email
It can take a minute — check spam. The link works once. "This link has expired or was already used" means ask for a new one. At most 3 an hour.
Ask for a reset link. - 4
"Invalid code — try again."
2-step codes change every 30 seconds. Type the newest one. If it never works, set the phone's date and time to "automatic" — a phone clock that's a few minutes off makes every code wrong.
- 5
New phone or lost phone
Codes live in the authenticator app on your old phone. Without it, ask Yahiv support to turn off 2-step for you — then set it up again under My account → "Two-factor login".
Set up 2-step again in My account. - 6
Signed out by itself?
Your organization may sign people out after some minutes without use (Settings → Sign-in & security). That's for safety.
Minutes without use before sign-out.
Tips
- Passwords must be at least 10 characters.
- In the Yahiv phone app, save your password when offered — then Face ID or your fingerprint fills it in next time.
If something isn't working
"Too many attempts. Please wait 15 minutes."
Wait 15 minutes before trying again.
The reset email never comes.
Check spam, and that you typed the email you sign in with. Wait an hour after 3 tries.
Still stuck after all these checks?
Press the help button and ask Yahiv, or write to Yahiv support with what you tried and a screenshot. Nobody minds — that's what support is for.
