A staff member can't see a page or menu
Pages disappear for four reasons: the person's role, their permissions, a feature turned off for the organization, or the subscription being view-only.
- 1
Read the message
"You don't have access to that page." means permissions. "That part of Yahiv is turned off for your organization — an admin can turn it on under Settings → Features." means a feature is off.
The message shows at the top of Home. - 2
Check their role
Settings → "Team & roles". Owners and Admins see everything (Admins can't change processors or API keys). Many settings pages are for Owners and Admins only.
Each person's role and access. - 3
Check their access
Click "Edit access" under the person. "People directory" and "Gifts, commitments & recurring" can be No access / view / edit. Ticks control "Refund, void & cancel commitments", "Download spreadsheets", "Send bulk texts, emails & calls", "See reports & statements" and more.
Change what they can see and do. - 4
Limited to some campaigns or own results
"Only these:" campaigns, or "Only see gifts credited to their linked fundraiser record", hide everything else — including some Insights pages.
"Own results only" hides the rest. - 5
Features turned off
Settings → "Features": anything turned off is hidden for everyone. Nothing is deleted — turn it back on.
Turn parts of Yahiv on or off. - 6
View-only subscription
If a red "View only" bar shows, nobody can change anything until the plan is renewed. See "The account is view-only".
Tips
- Changes to access take effect on their next page load.
- Give the smallest access that lets someone do their job — you can always add more.
If something isn't working
I'm an Admin and still can't open Payment processors.
Only the Owner can change processors and API keys.
The menu shows "My calls" instead of "Outreach".
They don't have "Send bulk texts, emails & calls", but someone gave them call-list calls.
Still stuck after all these checks?
Press the help button and ask Yahiv, or write to Yahiv support with what you tried and a screenshot. Nobody minds — that's what support is for.
