I can't find a person I know is there

If someone doesn't come up in search, they may be spelled differently, removed, combined into another record — or your login only sees part of the data.

  1. 1

    Search less

On People, type only part of the name, or the phone number, email, street, zip or account #. Hebrew names can be searched in Hebrew.

Search by name, phone, email, street, zip or account #.
  2. 2

    Clear filters

Is a ready-made view on the left selected, or a filter chip showing? Click "Everyone" and clear the filters.

Active filters show as chips — clear them.
  3. 3

    Were they removed?

Admins: click "Recently removed" on the left of People, or open Settings → "Recycle bin". Removed people can be restored for 30 days.

Restore removed people within 30 days.
  4. 4

    Were they combined?

If two records were combined, only the one that was kept remains, with all the gifts. Search for the other spelling, the spouse, or the phone number.

  5. 5

    Is your login limited?

A login with People set to "No access" can't see People at all. Fundraiser logins and logins limited to some campaigns or "own results" see only their part of the giving. Ask an admin (Settings → Team & roles → Edit access).

People access for each team member.
  6. 6

    Another organization?

If you work for more than one organization, check you're in the right one (your initials at the top right → switch).

    Switch organizations from your menu.

Tips

  • Ctrl K (Quick search) finds people from anywhere in Yahiv.
  • Search ignores capital letters and Hebrew vowel marks.

If something isn't working

They're in the Recycle bin with 0 days left.

After 30 days people with no gifts are removed for good. Add them again.

I can see the person but not their gifts.

Your Giving access is "No access", or limited to some campaigns. Ask an admin.
