Face ID or fingerprint sign-in isn't offered
Face ID / fingerprint sign-in is offered only after signing in once with a code, on a phone that has it, and only on that phone and browser.
- 1
Sign in with a code first
Face ID is offered after a normal sign-in with a code: "Use Face ID / fingerprint next time".
Sign in with a code first. - 2
Does the phone have it?
It's offered only where the device has Face ID, Touch ID or a fingerprint reader turned on, with a screen lock set.
- 3
Same phone, same browser
It's set up per device. A new phone, a different browser, or a private / incognito window needs a code again.
- 4
Look at "This phone"
In the portal, donors see and remove their devices under "This phone". Remove an old one and set it up again.

Staff phone app
For the staff Yahiv app: save your password when the phone offers; then Face ID or your fingerprint fills it in next time.

Tips
- Nothing about a face or finger reaches Yahiv — only the phone's key.
- Adding the portal to the home screen makes it open like an app.
If something isn't working
The Face ID button does nothing.
Sign in with a code, then turn Face ID on again from the offer.
It worked yesterday, not today.
The phone's settings or browser data may have been cleared. Sign in with a code and set it up again.
Still stuck after all these checks?
Press the help button and ask Yahiv, or write to Yahiv support with what you tried and a screenshot. Nobody minds — that's what support is for.
