For a closed month, use the saved totals
If the month is closed, Settings → "Month closing" shows the totals saved at the close, by "How it was given", with refunds and deposits.
The month's totals by payment type.
Tips
- The Summary counts gifts by their gift date. Refunds made later reduce the original gift's total.
- Month closing counts refunds in the month they were made — so the two can differ slightly.
If something isn't working
Cash and checks don't match the bank deposit.
Some may not be marked deposited, or were deposited in another month. Check Giving → Deposits.
Card totals are higher than the processor's deposit.
Processors take fees before depositing. See Insights → Payouts for gross, fees and net.
