Set up a matching campaign (2× match with a match cap)
Run a Charidy-style campaign where every dollar is doubled (or tripled) by matchers, up to a limit you set. Yahiv shows the matched total on the donation page and in night mode.
Before you start
- You are an Owner or Admin.
- You know how much your matchers promised in total (that is your "match cap").

Open the campaign
Go to "Campaigns" and click the campaign (or start a new one with "Start a campaign"). Scroll down to "Settings" on the campaign's page.

Choose the multiplier
In the box "Matching (Charidy-style)", set "Multiplier" to "2x (doubled)". You can also pick 3x, 4x or 5x. "No matching" turns it off.
2x means every $100 shows as $200. - 3
Set the match cap
In "Match cap $ (matchers' total)" type the most the matchers will add, e.g. 100000. Once donors have given that much in a 2× match, the matched part stops growing — gifts after that count once.

Name the matchers
In "Matchers (names shown)" type who is matching, e.g. "the Levin & Baum families". Leave it empty if they want to stay private.

Set the goal
Put the goal in "Goal $" with the match already counted. For example, $100,000 from donors doubled is a $200,000 goal.

Save
Click "Save campaign". The campaign card now shows a yellow "2× match" tag, and the campaign page shows both "Raised (before match)" and "With 2x match".

Check the donation page
Click "Donation page ↗" on the campaign. Donors see the doubled total, and as they pick an amount the form says "With matching, your $100 becomes $200."

Tips
- Night mode and the big screen show "matching capped at …" under the total once you set a cap, so the room sees the real number.
- The match is shown, not charged — Yahiv never bills the matchers. Collect from them as you normally would (record their gift or pledge separately if they want a receipt).
- Pledges made on campaign night count toward the screen total when the screen counts pledges.
If something isn't working
The campaign list card shows a higher total than night mode.
The campaign cards, the campaign page and the public donation page multiply everything by the match. Night mode, the big screen and the night summary also apply your match cap. Once donors pass the cap, trust the night-mode number.
The total didn't double.
Check "Multiplier" is 2x (not "No matching") and that the gifts are tagged with this campaign. Gifts without a campaign don't count.
I want matching to stop after a certain time.
Change "Multiplier" back to "No matching" and save when the match period ends. The totals then show what was really given.
