Set a goal, a bonus goal and a countdown

Give the campaign a goal, a bonus goal for after you pass it, and an end time — the donation page shows a progress ring and a countdown clock.

Before you start

Open the campaign's settings
Click "Campaigns", click the campaign, and scroll to "Settings".
Goal and bonus goal sit side by side.

Type the goal
In "Goal $" type the amount you're aiming for, e.g. 250000. No dollar sign or commas needed.

Type the bonus goal
In "Bonus goal $ (after goal is hit)" type the next target, e.g. 300000. Until you reach the goal, donors see the goal. As soon as the total passes it, the page switches to the bonus goal and the ring says "of bonus goal".
The bonus goal appears only after the main goal is reached.

Set the end time
Pick a date and time in "Ends (countdown)". Make sure "Show countdown" is ticked lower down.
The countdown counts down to this moment.

Save
Click "Save campaign". The campaign card now shows "… days left" (in red for the last 3 days).

See it as a donor
Click "Donation page ↗" at the top of the campaign. You see the countdown and how far along you are.
Donors see the progress and the time left.

For a matching campaign, set the goal with the match included — the progress uses the matched total.
To extend the campaign, just change "Ends (countdown)" and save. Nothing else changes.
The big screen can use a different goal for one night: type it in "Goal $ (blank = campaign goal)" when you make the screen link.

There's no countdown on the page.

"Ends (countdown)" must have a date, and "Show countdown" must be ticked. Save again.

The page still shows the old goal after we passed it.

The bonus goal shows only when "Bonus goal $" has an amount. Fill it in and save.
