Teams and ambassadors with a leaderboard
Give each team or ambassador their own page with a goal, so friends give through them and they compete on a leaderboard.
Before you start
- A campaign (see "Start a campaign").
- Owner or Admin, to add or approve teams.

Open the campaign
Click "Campaigns", then the campaign. Scroll to "Teams & ambassadors".

Add a team
At the bottom of the section type the "Team / ambassador name" (e.g. "Young Couples"), the "Captain" and the "Goal $". Click "Add team".

Send each team its link
Each row has a "team page ↗" link. Copy it and send it to the captain. Gifts made from that link are credited to the team.

Let supporters start their own page (optional)
In the campaign's Settings tick "Supporters can start their own fundraising page". Keep "…but I approve new pages first" ticked if you want to check each one. Click "Save campaign".

Approve new pages
New pages show in the team list marked "waiting for approval". Click "Approve" to put it live, or "hide" to take a page down. "delete" removes the team but keeps its gifts in the campaign.

Watch the leaderboard
The donation page lists the teams from highest to lowest under "Teams". In night mode, "Top teams" shows the top 8 live.
Donors see the teams ranked on the campaign page.
Tips
- A team's total includes the match, just like the campaign.
- Team totals come from gifts made through the team's own page. Gifts typed in by staff count for the campaign, not for a team.
- The night summary has a "By team" box for thanking captains after the event.
If something isn't working
A supporter's page doesn't show on the website.
It's probably "waiting for approval". Open the campaign and click "Approve" next to it.
The start-your-own-page link says the campaign doesn't take new pages.
The campaign must be Active, have "Public donation page" ticked and "Supporters can start their own fundraising page" ticked.
I deleted a team by mistake.
Its gifts are still in the campaign. Add the team again with the same name; new gifts will credit it.
