Choose which number your texts or calls come from
On Send a message, the Send from (texts) or Caller ID (calls) box lets you pick the number people see.
Who does this: Office staff3 steps
- 1
Write your message
Outreach → Send a message. Choose Text message or Phone call and write the message as usual.
- 2
Pick the number
Under the message is "Send from" (texts) or "Caller ID" (calls). Automatic picks the usual number. You can choose your own number, the shared Yahiv number, or — for calls — a caller ID you verified.
- 3
Send
Tick the confirmation box and send. The number you chose is checked again before anything goes out.
Tips
- Texts sent from the shared Yahiv number start with your organization's name, so people know who it's from.
- Replies to a text come back to the number it was sent from.
If something isn't working
"That number can't be used to send from".
The number was removed or isn't verified any more. Choose another, or leave it on Automatic.
There is no Send from box.
It shows only for texts and calls, and only when there is a number to choose.
