Set up text to give and your keyword
Add your own keywords — like BUILD or PURIM — that send people straight to a campaign's giving page, with your own reply.
Before you start
- Owner or Admin.
- The campaign the keyword should go to exists (or use the general giving page).

Open Text to give
Settings → "Text to give". Below the phone box is the "Keywords" table.

Type the keyword
In the first empty "Keyword" box type one word, letters and numbers only, e.g. BUILD.
A keyword: one word, no spaces. - 3
Pick the campaign
In "Goes to campaign" choose the campaign, or leave "General giving page".

Write the reply (optional)
In "Reply (optional — use {link})" write your own answer, e.g. "Thank you for building with us! Give here: {link}". Yahiv puts the giving link where {link} is. Leave it empty for the normal reply.

Save
Press "Save". You see "Saved".

Test it
From your own phone text "<your code> BUILD 18" to the Yahiv number. You get the link with $18 filled in for that campaign.

Advertise it
Put it on posters and in the weekly email: "Text 1043 BUILD 180 to (732) 555-…".
Tips
- DONATE, GIVE, BALANCE and HELP always work — you don't need to add them.
- To remove a keyword tick "Remove" on its row and Save.
If something isn't working
"Keyword "MY GIFT" — letters and numbers only, no spaces".
Use one word, e.g. MYGIFT.
""STOP" is reserved by the phone carriers".
STOP, START, HELP, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT and YES can't be keywords. Pick another word.
""BUILD" is listed twice".
Delete one of the two rows (tick Remove) and Save.
