Get your own phone number
Instead of the shared Yahiv number and your code, you can have a number of your own — people text and call it directly.

Before you start
- Owner (to request it).

Open Text to give
Settings → "Text to give". At the bottom of "Your text & phone line" is "Want your own number? Area code (optional)".
Ask for your own number here. - 2
Type an area code
Optional — e.g. 732 for a local number.

Press Ask Yahiv for my own number
You see "Request sent — Yahiv will set up your number and let you know".

When it's ready
The box shows "Your own number: …". Calls to it come straight to you. Texts may still go out from the Yahiv number until your number is approved for texting — the box says so.
Tips
- Your own number is billed as part of your Yahiv plan — ask Yahiv about it.
- With your own number, donors don't need your code — they just text or call the number.
If something isn't working
"We already have your request — we'll be in touch".
You asked already today. Yahiv will contact you.
The "Ask Yahiv for my own number" box isn't there.
Only the Owner sees it, and it disappears once you have a number.
