Yahiv is slow
If pages take long to open, check your own connection first, then let an admin run the Speed check — it shows whether Yahiv's server and its database are far apart.
- 1
Is it just you?
Open another website. If that's slow too, it's your internet. Try another network or restart the router.
- 2
One page or all?
A huge list (thousands of rows with no filter) can be slow. Add a filter or a date range.
Add a date range to big lists. - 3
Run the Speed check
Admins: Settings → "Speed check" measures "One trip to the database" and shows where the app and the database run.
How long one trip to the database takes. - 4
Pass it on
If it says to move the app next to the database, or about connection pooling or "Scale to zero", send a screenshot to whoever runs your Yahiv (or Yahiv support).
- 5
First click in the morning
The very first page after a quiet night can be slower while things wake up. The next ones should be quick.
Tips
- Closing many browser tabs helps on older computers.
- Ctrl K (Quick search) is the fastest way to open a person.
If something isn't working
Only reports are slow.
Pick a shorter date range, or save the report and have it emailed.
A page never finishes loading.
Reload it. If it keeps happening on the same page, tell Yahiv support which one.
Still stuck after all these checks?
Press the help button and ask Yahiv, or write to Yahiv support with what you tried and a screenshot. Nobody minds — that's what support is for.
