The import says rows were skipped
Some rows are left out on purpose (declined and voided gifts, stopped recurring gifts, refund lines) and some because something was missing. The import's page lists each problem by row.

Open the import
Settings → "Import", then open the import from the list. The counts at the top show what was created and what was left out.

Left out on purpose
"Gifts already here" (importing again never duplicates), "Declined (not imported)", "Voided (not imported)" and "Stopped recurring (not imported)" are skipped on purpose.

Read "What happened"
Each problem has its row number and reason, such as "No name, email or phone — skipped", "Amount … isn't a number", "Date … not understood", or "Negative amount (a refund line) — refunds are recorded on the original gift; skipped".

Closed months
"… is closed (Settings → Month closing) — gift not imported". Reopen the month, import again, then close it.

Pledges
"Pledge … not found (import the pledges file first) — gift saved without it": import the pledges, then link the gift by hand or import again.

Fix and import again
Fix the rows in your spreadsheet and import the same file again. Rows already in are recognised and not added twice.
Import the fixed file again.
Tips
- Check the totals against your old system, then press "Sign off this import".
- "Undo import" removes what it created if you need to start over.

Dates came in a month off.
Your file may use day/month order. Fix the date column (YYYY-MM-DD is safest) and import again.
