Tips

  • A stack of checks is faster with Record → “Batch of checks”.
  • Have photos of the checks? Giving → Scan checks reads them for you.
  • A post-dated check: record it with today's date and keep it as “Not deposited yet” until you can deposit it.

If something isn't working

I typed the wrong check number or amount.

Open the gift → “Fix a mistake” → change Amount or Check # → “Save changes”. If it was already deposited, mark it “Not deposited yet” first to change the amount.

The check bounced.

Open the gift and click “Mark bounced” — see “A check bounced”.
