    Automatic reminders

To send reminders in steps automatically, start a reminder plan from the commitment's “Collecting” box (plans are made under Settings → Collecting & reminders).

Tips

  • Reminders go in the person's own language.
  • Over Shabbos and Yom Tov, reminders wait and go out after havdalah if the Shabbos guard is on.
  • “Send anyway” sends even if the person already heard from you as often as your contact limit allows. Your name is kept with the message.

If something isn't working

It says the person reached the contact limit.

Tick “Send anyway” if it's really needed, or wait. The limits are under Settings → Collecting & reminders.

It says “Donor has no cell phone (or opted out)”.

Add a cell phone, or use Email. If they asked not to be texted, respect it.

It says “Logged — connect an SMS/email provider…”.

Texting or email isn't connected yet. An admin sets it up under Settings → Email, SMS & WhatsApp.

It says “It's Shabbos/Yom Tov — the reminder goes out right after”.

Nothing to do — it's waiting for havdalah.
