"Online card giving is paused" — what to do
After a burst of declined cards, Yahiv pauses card giving on your giving page and kiosk for 30 minutes. Here's how to check and turn it back on.

Open the alert
Click the bell → the alert about many declined cards. It takes you to Settings → Sign-in & security.

Look at what happened
Open Giving and look at the last hour. Many small declined gifts with odd names or emails = card testing. A few declines from people you know = probably a real problem with one donor.

Turn it back on (if it's safe)
In "Card-testing protection", press "Turn it back on now". You see "Online giving is back on".

Or wait
If it still looks like an attack, do nothing — giving turns back on by itself after 30 minutes.
Tips
- During a pause donors see "Online card giving is paused for a few minutes for security. Please try again a little later."
- Text-to-give, the phone line and staff entry are not paused.
If something isn't working
It keeps pausing during a big campaign.
Check whether the declines are real donors (e.g. a processor problem). Call your processor if many good cards are being declined.
There is no "Turn it back on now" button.
Giving isn't paused right now (the box says "Online giving is on"). If donors still can't give, the problem is elsewhere — try a test gift yourself.
