List your biggest donors for a period
See who gave the most this year (or any dates), from largest to smallest, ready to download.

Open the Report builder
Open Insights → "Report builder" with List "Gifts".
Start with Gifts. - 2
Choose the dates
In "Dates" choose "This year" (or "Pick dates").
This year, or your own dates. - 3
Total it up by Person
In "Total it up by" choose "Person" and press "Run". Each person has one row with "How many" and "Total", biggest first.
One row per person, biggest first. - 4
Only one campaign (optional)
Pick a campaign in "Campaign" and press "Run" again.
Limit to one campaign. - 5
Save or download
Save it as "Top donors this year", or press "Download spreadsheet (CSV)".
Tips
- For lifetime totals, choose "Any time".
- People → sort by "Given" also ranks people, with all the People filters.
If something isn't working
A couple shows as two people.
Gifts are counted per person. Check family links, or combine duplicates.
The page sends me back to the Summary.
Logins limited to some campaigns or to their own results only see the Summary. Ask an admin if you need more.
