Make sure your emails reach the inbox (delivery check)
Settings → Email delivery check looks up three records on your web domain (SPF, DKIM and DMARC) that inboxes check before trusting your email, and tells you exactly what to add.
Before you start
- Your "From" address is set under Settings → Email, SMS & WhatsApp (an address on your own domain, like office@yourshul.org).
- You (or your web person) can sign in where you bought your domain.
- 1
Open Email delivery check
Go to Settings → "Email delivery check". Your domain and email service are filled in.
Your domain is filled in from your From address. - 2
Choose your email service
In "Email service" choose Resend, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, SendGrid, Mailgun, Amazon SES or Other. Press "Check".
Pick the service that sends your email. - 3
Read each line
Each record shows "✓ found" or "missing". The heading says "all good" or "needs attention".
SPF, DKIM and DMARC, each found or missing. - 4
Copy the fix
A yellow box under a missing record says exactly what to add, for example "Add a TXT record on _dmarc.yourshul.org: v=DMARC1; p=none…".
The yellow box says exactly what to add. - 5
Add it at your domain company
Sign in where you bought your domain (GoDaddy, Namecheap, Cloudflare…), open DNS, and add the record. Or send the yellow text to whoever manages your website.
- 6
Check again later
DNS changes can take an hour. Come back and press "Check" again.
Check again after an hour.
Tips
- Only one SPF record is allowed — edit the existing one rather than adding a second.
- Sending "from" a gmail.com or yahoo.com address through Yahiv gets blocked or sent to spam. Use your own domain.
If something isn't working
It says to set your From address first.
Add a From address under Settings → Email, SMS & WhatsApp, then come back.
I added the record but it still says missing.
Wait an hour and check again. Make sure it was added on the exact name shown (for example _dmarc).
